We opened The Notch because downtown Chicago deserved a place that doesn't rush you out.

Located on W Jackson Blvd, just steps from the Loop, The Notch is a two-part space by design. Mornings are for single-origin pour-overs, house-made pastries, and the kind of quiet where you actually get things done. Nights belong to the bar — a rotating selection of small-batch spirits, local craft beer, and cocktails made with ingredients we source from Illinois growers whenever possible.

We don't do happy-hour gimmicks. We do good coffee, honest drinks, and a room that feels like yours.
